[VAC] Can You Cut Zip Dee Awning?

I'm interested in buying a Zip Dee Awning from Chris Thompson's inventory.  He only has a 14' 10".  My airstream has an awning rail that measures 14' exactly.  Can I have someone cut the awing to fit?  Can it hang over the edges of the rail? It seems like a good deal if I can make it work somehow.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks
