Gary,
I run a 1994 Dodge 2500 V-10 with a 4.10 rear end, two wheel drive pulling a
1975 31' Excella 500. Unloaded I have gotten a high of 16.7mpg, and all
around I  average in the high 14mpg range. Towing, I get 10 to 12mpg. It all
depends on how hard you squeeze on the go pedal!  :)
