Brian,
The wire between the spark generator and the electrode isn't anything
special. I wired the 'ground' side of the generator directly to my
aluminum bracket, using a single wire to the electrode. When I light the
fridge, I'm lying on the floor and can see the spark and see when the
burner lights off.
