everyone is complicating a 200 mile tow. 18" from pavement to center of
ball... i have never tied off or used a bungee cord towing a beetle any
place. 1956 beetle drag racer.. i towed from racine ,wis to st louis
missouri, no bungee or anything.i towed every week end from racine to union
grove wisc. about 20 miles.. great lakes dragaway. what can i say. i towed
a 1967 type 2 westy van with my 1961 beetle 25 miles - no bungee or other
strap device.. check lug nuts and air pressure and tow that sucker the 200
miles.
