Thanks Tom,

I hate to ask but how do I verify I am getting power to the switch and
motor?

Verify that you ARE getting power to the wiper motor switch, then verify
that the power is getting from the switch to the wiper motor.

Subject: [vintagvw] Wipers not working

Morning all,

Well it was snowing this morning and I turned on the wiper and
nothing.... :-( so I drove 11 miles in the snow with no wipers.

I checked the fuses when I got to work and they are fine. My Bentley
and Haynes are at home so I don't know which fuse it is but they all
seem fine. I tried to move the wipers by hand and nothing....

I did spray contact cleaner on the fuse box in the trunk this weekend
and I don't know if that had a bearing on the wiper failure.

Does the list know where I should start troubleshooting the problem?
It's still snowing and I hope it stops before this evenings commute. :-)

Thanks
