I know for myself it has just been the lack of time to commit to a VW project, which leaves me with nothing to share or ask. How about everyone else? Anyone doing a project and want to share what it is?
I completed some mini projects last summer; one was helping a new found friend get her 69 convertible back on the road. It had become the victim of a ill placed aftermarket air cleaner that shorted out the ignition wire when the breather tube touched the choke wire. Turned out to be a good thing as I found a number of other things wrong like a CV axle that was coming off, brake shoes that delaminated from their backing plate, fuel pump that was leaking, along with severely dry rotted fuel lines, and some other electrical issues. Was great to see her pull away with a smile on her face again.
