Hi Ray - you've got a good memory. The photos are still online at: http://incolor.inebraska.com/elassley_bie//temp/Mexibug/ Of course these were scanned in the late 90s at probably 150 to 200dpi on a 160Mhz Pentium 1 so they aren't very big. When I find the originals (I still have them) I'll have to rescan them. My brother still has the shell and wants to keep it. Since then my wife and I coincidentally found a 1995 Mexican beetle (running!) in Kansas City with the Chihuahua, MX registration plate in the window. It'll make good reference for the shell project if my brother ever wants to bring it up to spec.
