The 66-67 rims are not exactly the same as the 356 rims.  The slot shape is 
different, The 356 slots are D shaped and the VW slots are ovals.
 they do pinch the flatter hubcap from the outside instead of the clips 
from the inside like the 65 and earlier. The porsche hubcap has a nipple to 
clear the bearing hub. As far as width and offset goes, you can research 
this,
 I am not sure if the number of slots are equal, but I think they are.
