My friendly VW mechanic has hit me with a test query that I'm not sure of.
To wit:
Q: What two pieces first used on a 1958 base model (111) Sparkäfer did not
show up for use in the US until the 1968 model year?
This is one that nobody EVER gets.
Hint 1: But I will help you. The key here is 1958 111 vs. 113. If you study
enough pictures, it should jump right out at you.
Hint 2: The second key thing is: 1968 113 for the USA market.
A good task for a rainy day.
Anybody got a clue about this one?
