Hello VeeDubbers, My name is Eric and I had two fine VWS washed out from under me by Super Storm Sandy. A 68 Rallye Yellow on black Convertible bug and a nice Porche Silver Karmann Ghia Convertible with a John Connolly Mexican Long block. Loved Bill May's help and guidance in restoring my two VWS. Another Guy , lest we forget was Bob Hoover. He is the author of the Hoover Sermons, which cover just about everything VW. He passed a few years ago from Multiple Myeloma, and blogged up until he could'nt. Another great resource. I highly recommend getting ahold of those sermons in whatever way you can. Wonder if they are still out there on the internet on a server some where???? Anyhow, I had a nice 66 Mustang convertible drop my way reasonably and 4 months later I have a great looking and running car with antifreeze for blood.
