I have a very strange problem. I purchased the New Trent iPad case with
keyboard. I set it up as expected, paired the keyboard etc. Every small
keyboard has a different layout. Next to the slash key it has a key which
VoiceOver's keyboard help identifies as "Control Character". Don't confuse this
with the control key.

When I hit it, everything goes nuts. By that I mean that when I go into any
textfield, it will act like I hold down the Delete key repeatedly - erasing
anything in the field and continuing to back up, causing the little sound which
occurs when at the beginning of the field. It will just keep going and going
and going for thousands of times. And to make it weirder, I turned off the
keyboard and disabled bluetooth and the problem persisted. I had to reset the
iPad to stop it.

Has anyone else experienced this? What does this "control character" really do?
I'll have to have a sighted person look at the label to see. BTW this happens
with iOS 5.1 on an iPad 2. I guess I'll go back to the Apple keyboard!
