The method Fred mentioned isn't an app, rather it's a Voice Over
feature. You basically give the photo file name a label which is only
voice out by Voice Over. If you transfer the photo, it will still have
the original file name.

Yes, you can re-label your photo's by doing a double-tap and hold.
Beyond that, there is an app called which will allow you to title your
photo's auditorially. Very cool.

Hi,
I’m wondering if there is an app that will let you label your photos
since the number images that it puts on the pics in your camera
aren’t much help when you can’t see.
I know you can attach a caption when you post to facebook but when
you’re looking at your pics in the camera being able to label them
so you don’t have to ask a sighted person for help would be helpful.
I’m talking about on an iPhone 4 s and an iPod touch 4.
