The zite app found in the U.S. store at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zite-personalized-magazine/id419752338?mt=8 is a personalized magazine app. It lets you select from a whole bunch of categories or make custom categories and then finds articles in those categories for you to read. You can further customize the app by using the controls found on each article's page, e.g. telling the app you don't want any more from a given source or would like more on that topic or from that source etc. It runs on IPhones too, but to me, the interface there is far less efficient/usable than the one on the IPad.
