Right, I guess it was Dave who said the iPad 2 didn’t have a back facing
camera.

I still haven’t tried scanning anything. It’s quite awkward to hold compared
to the nice little phone

Hello,
Yes, but I said that the iPad, meaning the original iPad doesn't have a camera.
However, I'm interested in how well it works.
So far, I have not really had any success with my iPhone 4S.

  Hello,
The iPad, at least the original iPad does not have any cameras at all.

    Hello,

On the iPad and iPad II, there is only one camera in the front for visual /
webcam calling. This camera is not good enough for OCR.

        Hello,

I prefer Prizmo. It has a very steep learning curve, but if you make it
through the learning, Prizmo works quite well. OCR works on an iPhone 4 or
higher and the latest iPad. Nothing else has a good enough camera. The iPad
would probably be more difficult because of its size. This is merely
speculation on my part as I have not seen the latest iPad yet.

I don't have an iphone yet, but plan to get one in the next couple of

printe mail and stuff like that? I'm thinking this cannot happen with an ipad,
but wanted this clarified from some one who knows more about this stuff than I
do. If I am able to scan mail, which app would be more benefitial for me?
