Hi Amy,

I'm not sure where this particular pealing screen protector came from. It
could have come from either Balance FBA or visionaids canada both here in
toronto, but I'm not sure where they source the things. I saw it on the phone
one day with the corners looking all ratassed and then the next week I saw the
same phone again and the screen protector was gone.

My other current client that has one of these doesn't have an issue with
pealing, but the dots are so flat I can hardly feel them myself and I'm a good
braille reader. He has sensitivity issues so a tactile screen protector
probably wasn't a good fit for him to begin with, but then he's obviously
scrubbed the dots flat trying to feel them with his sensitivity reduced fingers.

I'm guessing that the huge humidity in this area may play some part in the
pealing situation. Also the pealing client tended to leave her phone on the
charger a lot. I'm wondering if it may have been running hot more often than
the average. Or it could have been a cheep piece of dimo tape that some one
pounded out in their living room and handed off to the client. I never asked.

But I'm not really convinced that a tactile screen protector is more than
training wheels. Can't go wrong for the price, but I think it has more value
as a comfort inducer than an actual communication aid.

Best,

Erik Burggraaf
