This is one of the things garageband does I thought? It is composition software and does offer a stave to work on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Erichsen" <serich...@gmail.com> To: <macvisionar...@googlegroups.com>; <viphone@googlegroups.com> Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2012 2:12 AM Subject: notation
Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to create printed musical notation from the mac/iOS? I have windows available to me, but I'd rather not use it if I didn't have to. I've had a play with Lillypond but it seemed extremely complex considering what I want to do. I honestly wish the music programs like Sibelius were accessible. Voiceover just crashes when I try and use it. I have used Sibelius under windows and it works well, but under a VM which is how I have windows set up on my laptop, I'm not sure how it would work and I need it to be perfect. Also if anyone has suggestions for an iOS app that might be worth looking at, I'd really appreciate it. If no one has any ideas I'll keep researching and let everyone know what I find. Thanks.
