Hi Alex, You have to get rid of each part separately if it is a multipart book. When on the page containing the whole book or part of the book, if it is more than one part, that you want to get rid of, double tap the info button found near the top right corner, below the status bar, of course. Towards the bottom of the screen that comes up, you will see 3 tabs. Make sure the "details" tab is selected by double tapping it if it is not already. Flick left until you get to a "remove from device" option and double tap that and then double tap the confirm deletion, and that part will be gone. Repeat as necessary for multiple book parts.
