That's for sure. The droid accessibility is just not near as complete. It will not let you examine anything by word or by character unless you are in an edit field and are using a keyboard and only certain ones of the onscreen keyboards from what I understand. It will not let you navigate by items. This is all in explore by touch which you can't even get a new enough version of Android on most phones yet to even have. Explore by touch limits you to moving your finger around the screen to find things and if you miss it, oh well. No other way to navigate to it. You are also limited to activating things by lifting your finger after you find it and then a single tap on what you want to activate. Sure the single tap could be convenient, but you have to be exactly on what it is you want to activate. So if it's really small, you better be good at that. I have heard the fans go on and on about how much better this is because it is like the sighted world does it. Sure, but their eyes can direct their finger with little error possibility. I wish the droid world were equally as accessible. The fans seem to see it through rose colored glasses and boy they love to bash and put down the IPhone. I think they find the IPhone a threat to their world over there or something. Listen to That Android Show and count the number of negative comment opportunities they create and jump on those that they otherwise find. That is the one thing that particularly ticks me off about that podcast. They are so, so, so outwardly expressively anti-IPhone. Don't bother askingthose fans for their answer to the droid accessibility shortcomings and therefore concerns. If they are not in favor of the comment, my experience is they ignore it.
