Hello!

I use a program called Chapter and Verse. This allows me to import the MP3
files and it asks me if I want to convert them to .ACC format. It then
allows for the creation of chapters at intervals or wherever I tell it to.
It then combines all the .ACC files, adds the chapters, and places the
finished .M4B file in iTunes. All I have to do is hook up my phone, go to
the books section, and check the box beside the new book and re-sync the
iPhone.

HTH!
Jerry

Hi Raul,
Thanks for your advice. I found a program called mp3 to ipod converter which
turns all the mp3s into one m4b file. It played on itunes Mac but when i
synced books it didn't appear in ibooks. Any ideas? I may just go back to
the downcast solution but i would like to make this work as well. Thanks.
Marc

my place very well. I think depending on your file names, perhaps this might
be the reason for the trouble with ordering your files. Do you have them
ordered a certain way? If ordering is a problem, you can always rename the
files before importing them.

for the best way to read this on the iphone? Is there a program for
concatinating them into a single file? Should i create a m4b file so i can
keep my place in the book? What are alternatives to itunes for listening to
it? I have used downcast to import podcast mp3 files before, but it seems to
mix the order of imported files. Any suggestions and experiences would be
appreciated. Thanks.
