Hi,

If you have  loaded the maps then take your finger slowly round the screen and 
you will find that you can see that they are loaded. You can exit the map 
manager with a small button which is on the left hand side of the screen I 
can't remember now what it says exactly  but something like " start program"but 
it was fairly obvious to me, and I appreciate that perhaps I've had more 
experience of this than you have but the button is there. I hope this will help.
