Word is a desktop publishing application, so assuming this is all
accessible, you'd be able to create, edit and read documents with
structure such as headings, lists, tables and so on. You'd also be able
to use it to work with Word formats, such as .doc and .docx files.
The Notes app is a simple text editor. If you just want to work with
simple unstructured documents then the Notes app will be fine.
