Hello Listers,

I've gotten spoiled to reading with a locked screen in the BARD Mobile,
Audible, and Voice Dream Reader apps. I Tried locking my screen when reading
the iOS Access for All iBook with the iBooks app but VoiceOver immediately
stopped playing when I did this. I can't find a setting that allows reading
from a locked screen and I can only assume that iBooks is primarily designed
for sighted users to read with which can only be done with the screen
displayed.

Does anyone know if it's possible to continuously read an iBook with
VoiceOver and lock the screen while doing so in order to preserve battery
life? I'm running iOS 8.1.2 on an iPhone 5.

Thanks in advance for any help.
