Hi Keith,

 

It’s no problem to terminate the process. This has happened to me in the past 
at various stages of a sync and sometimes it seems that quitting all apps, 
shutting down the phone and restarting it as well as restarting the computer 
and iTunes fixes the issue.

Subject: Help or insights please - interminably long Transfer of Purchases from 
iPhone to PC

 

Hi,

 

I did an encrypted  backup of my iPhone 6 this afternoon.

 

Then I initiated a Transfer Purchases from iPhone to PC. It is now in its 3rd 
hour. I haven’t purchased that much, and never  before has the Transfer portion 
of bacup / transfer / synch taken this long.

 

Do I just hang in there or cancel the transfer process?

 

Appreciate any guidance.
