Yeah, sorry about that. I could have converted the PDF into a text file for you, but I didn't think that's what you were looking for. I've found that if the original PDF has issues, such as images for buttons and the like, then the resulting text file isn't going to be much better. I assumed you were looking for an Apple generated text file for the users guide. It also didn't seem like from your original message you had any trouble getting a PDF file, so I figured you could always dump it into a text file yourself.

Your original message made it sound like you were just asuming the PDF would be a bad experience and hadn't taken a look at it yourself, so I didn't think letting you know that it was pretty good was just stating my preference. Remember we're not paid support staff on this list.

Thanks for this. I'll be looking through it. Wow. Someone actually
provided what was asked for, rather than stating their preferences!

I did not find a separate user guide on Apple's manual site for the
iPhone 6, just the generic iPhone user guide for iOS 8.1.
I opened it in Voice Dream.
Then, exported it to Writer.
Then, Exported it to DropBox as a txt file.
Here is the link to my Public DropBox folder for that txt file:

No guarantees about formatting.

HTH,
Richard

Pity we couldn't put this to Apple accessibility, all guides and
manuals in .txt, the most accessible format there is.

AS .pdf files are, quite often, messy to read through, does anyone have, or
know where I can get, a user's guide for the iPhone 6 in text format?
Thanks.
