Does this happen as often with the IPhone 6 or 6 plus as it does with the 4s?

Did you do a clean install or an upgrade? If you upgraded it might be worth doing a clean install to see if it makes any difference. Personally I have found that VO works really well on the 6 although there are still various bugs that are present across all devices that are detailed on sites like Applevis. Cheers, Ben.
