Hi Richard. I don’t have a clue because I don’t have any Bluetooth headsets. If they work, this would make it easier than always having to have a wired headphone connected. One nice thing about the recording app I am using which is Audio Memos is that you can have it start recording as soon as it opens. This is true of other apps as well. So, if you know exactly where on the screen the app is, you can open it without plugging in headphones. It’s chancy, and I wouldn’t want to record my life’s work that way, but it can be done.

That sounds quite good. I was also looking at the newer microphone from Blue Microphones, the Mikey Digital Lightning microphone. It has a 230 degrees stereo spread but I gather it blocks the earphone jack completely and doesn’t have a pass through jack so it will be useless to a VoiceOver user unless Bluetooth earphones work while it is plugged in. Speaking of Bluetooth headsets, have you tried any Bluetooth headsets with the iQ6? I just discovered that if you plug in the iPhone Air pods and connect a Bluetooth headset, the sound goes to the Bluetooth headset, so I’m thinking that would maybe be an option with these microphones.
