I love the Amy voice from Ivona in Voice Dream. She costs 4.99 extra, but well worth it if you like British accents. James from NeoSpeech is very good for an American male voice at 2.99. Heather is good, but I prefer Laura for an American female voice from Acapella at I think 1.99.
Voices are terribly subjective. You can hear a sample of the voices before you buy them in Voice Dream. But, Voice Dream is the best app on the market for reading all kinds of text based files.
