Craig, That's great. I got a similar result when switching to iOS 8 on an iPhone 5. I had a lot of apps on that 5 and the only thing that seemed slower under 8 than under 7.1.2 was the 3-finger swipes between my 10 pages of apps. The opening and execution of the apps all seemed to perform as quickly under iOS 8.1.3 as they had under iOS 7.1.2.
