Yes indeed.
This has been reported to MLB at bat and they have promised a fix for several 
months, but when the next update comes out, nothing has changed.
There is a kind of work around, but please contact MLB mobile and complain.
The work around is to double tap and hold on the article you want, keep your 
finger on the screen, and tap with another finger, essentially doing a split 
tap along with the double tap and hold. Then, touch in the middle of the screen 
and your article should be there.
