I don't think all iBooks have DRM protection. I know I got Shelly Brisbin's iOS Access for All from iBooks and it was in standard epub format which plays quite nicely in Voice Dream Reader.
Here's what I did to get it there: 1. Went to the folder Documents\iTunes\iTunes Media\Books on my Windows XP system and found the folder for Shelly Brisbin which was the next level down. 2. I then copied the single epub file containing her book to my Dropbox folder where I was able to open it in Voice Dream Reader by selecting the Add button on the VDR bottom-line menu.
