Neal and Cliff, as I recall, for me, I had to press the paire button first then f1 f2 or f3. Perhaps I’m wrong but if Cliff’s way doesn’t work try it this way. The Pair button is on the back of the keyboard, near the upper right hand cornor, about 2 inches down from the top and 1 inch over from the right.

As for pairing the device, it uses the f1 through f3 keys. Select witch one you want your device to be paired with, then push the pair button on the underside of the keyboard. It is located just under the delete or backspace key. HTH Frustrated with your Mac, I-device, or AppleTV? New user and want quick efficient answers? I think I read, or was told, that one presses one of these keys, goes to settings in the phone, selects the keyboard and it pairs itself. Whether or not this works, it would be nice to know where these keys are. Oh, one other thing. Is there a hide keyboard key like there is on the apple keyboard, or does one simply turn off the keyboard when one wants to use the device keyboard? Thanks much for your help.
