One thing that has made the difference for that is to double tap the button that hides the recipients. I forget what it is called. I assume it is still there with the exchange mail as well as with IMAP. Don't see why it wouldn't be, but then I don't see why VO can't just read the freaking body like it should either. If the work around is easy though who cares.
