Sure. Doubt that it’ll help the English speaking bunch since I learned the guitar and all its subsequent terms in Spanish (do, re, mi, cejilla, traste, etc.). But for those who speak Spanish, the channels I do subscribe to are: guitarraviva, albertguitar100, Ivan González and cristianvid. All of them offer full guitar tutorials. Albrt100 is more focused towards the flamenco and classical/instrumental aspect of playing. Whereas the other three do everything individual song tutorials, chords, rhythms, etc.
Indeed Albert100 offers the same lessons he does in Spanish in English, but well…his English language accent is a bit on the rough side and it would probably be a challenge for someone to follow along. He’s the one I’m partial too. I’ve picked up some good Beethoven and Tárrega pieces via his instruction. I believe all these guys with the exception of Ivan González has their own guitar playing/learning website, but again, they’re going to be in Spanish. I’ll often throw these videos to my Apple TV via my phone for better sound and picture in case I might need my sighted wife to tell me where a certain finger placement or sequence is if I can’t figure it out on my own. It’s a bit hit and miss as far as finding someone who is good at describing what it is they are doing, but once you do come across someone who gives clear explinations, then just subscribe to their channel. I’ve been able to pick up some classical and flamenco pieces this way. There’s always something one can pick up on the guitar. I’ve tried using some guitar tab apps, but even if the app itself is accessible, reading the tabs really isnt’ feasible with Voiceover. At least not in my experience. YouPlayer is an accessible app for YouTube along with the native YouTube app. From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Todd W Sent: Tuesday, March 31, 2015 4:28 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: VO Friendly Guitar Lessons/Tutorials Hi All, Does anyone have any suggestions for guitar tutorials that work well with VoiceOver and suited for someone who is visually impaired?
