I used to be quite good with the keyboard but, perhaps tdue to health and
medication, not quite so good these days. I still can make it and don't think
it was due to my incapacity that I had the problem.

I am sorry. I do not use a keyboard. I do all my data entry using the
onscreen keyboard or braille entry on the screen.
Practice will improve your onscreen skills. Remember, it takes very tiny
movements of the finger. This is quite difficult for blind people to master as
we are used to making very large movements.

much time left before going out) that I almost want to give up my iPhone!

I never can because there are things about it, particularly the use of some
of the apps, that I'd really miss!
