Hi all, I replied to a couple of people on here yesterday re Apple watch but it appears my messages didn’t get through as they’re not in my sent mailbox so I’ll put my thoughts all together.
I won’t be preordering one as I can’t justify the expense at the moment and it will make a good Christmas present I think. It would be good to get in at the beginning though and it will be hard waiting. Smile. As to why I want one: My main reason I have to confess is to play with to see what I can do. Looking at a long article someone posted here it’s somewhat complicated so there’s likely to be plenty of fun and games. Smile. I’d originally thought of getting the Apple Watch but think maybe I’ll get the sport model as this is the first generation and if it’s successful it will improve in time and then spending more will be of more value, especially as according to the same article the battery life isn’t long. A day would be fine for me but with Voiceover I’d expect to get somewhat less, particularly as it’s likely, at least at first, to take longer to do things with it. Another reason I want one is the ability to use it over WIFI which hopefully will mean I won’t have to keep my phone as close by as with my bluetooth earpiece which doesn’t work all over the house. I can hardly wait to hear how it works with Voiceover and look forward to the findings of those of you who will get it soon.
