Hi all,

Some of you know I was very reluctant to do this, just in case I couldn't get
in etc. Well, after lots of questions ... and a patient friend who answered
them for me, I decided I'd have a go with my 4S. The reason I'm telling you
this is to explain that, probably like others, I hadn't even really looked at
the settings that are given. When I came to carry out the process, I realised
that the default settings were really good, in that I was very unlikely to get
into trouble. This was a lesson for me to try to remember to look at settings
and was further brought home when I had the problem recently of not being able
to get rid of two button items that mysteriously appeared in my messages.
Again, I hadn't looked through the changes (additions) to settings following
the most recent upgrade.

Perhaps this might help others to have a good look around their settings after
upgrade and also to take the plunge and password their phone.

I'd really like to be able to use fingerprint but this isn't available for the
4S, so another reason to think of upgrading soon.
