I guess I didn't want to be the first to do this, but this thread is feeling 
like the emperor's  new clothes to me...
Siri is the only game in town for device-related functions including settings, 
appointments, reminders, and other Apple functions it can control. But to get 
an astounding range of facts, answer a huge range of questions by speaking you 
a real answer rather than just showing you an article on the screen, find out 
about sports fixtures and scores even outside the US with spoken answers and 
much more, the best thing you can do with Siri is to launch the Google app. 
Sorry, but Apple has fallen far behind in the voice assistant market.
