I also have this focus problem on the roll button.
It all started with ios 8.
I have experienced it on two phones.  Originally on an iphone 5, and when I 
upgraded to an iphone 6.
I am currently experiencing it on an iphone 6 running ios 8.3.

    Nick, the developer, is normally very responsive. I am a beta tester for 
the game and have not experience this issue. I will pass your email along to

button with the dice world game.

    seems like there is a focus issue.

    I have to tap more than once, or swipe away from the roll button and back 
again, before it will activate the roll.

    Me and my sister maria, have both experienced this problem, and written to 
the developer. But have never received a reply.
