Hi Vicky, There are those more able to answer your questions, so I won't do that right now, but I am interested to know why you prefer the 6 over the 6 plus? I will be upgrading this year, for definite and I'll either jump to a 7, when I see what's on offer, or it will be the 6. I have put off the upgrade because I think the plus, though it has better battery life and a better sounding speaker, it's a bit too big for me, hence my asking your reason for preference! Anyway, I'm glad a family member can make use of the other phone.
I look forward to your response: Carol P Sent from my iPhone using MBraille On 14 May 2015, at 5:03 pm, Vicky Collins <v-coll...@sbcglobal.net> wrote: As I have mentioned previously, I purchased both an iPhone 6 and 6 plus, to see which one I liked the best. And, seeing as, at least for my purposes, I prefer the 6, I'm visiting my family in Kentucky and looking to give a family member the 6 plus. Am I correct that going to settings, then to general, then to reset, and then to erase all content and settings will indeed clear everything off the phone? What I mean by this more specifically, is will it prompt me to turn off find my iPhone as part of the reset process, as well as disable Apple Pay for the cards I have on file for this phone? Also, if I'm reading correctly, these same cards will still continue to work without a problem on my iPhone 6? Then, too, I'm thinking I will still need to go to the Apple support site and remove the 6 plus from my account? -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list.
