We use it mostly to listen to all the music I ripped. I’ve ripped all of my over 1000 cds to ITunes.

Use the Apple remote that came with the Apple TV. There are 2 buttons under the big select button. The button on the left is the main menu button. Press it for about 3-5 seconds. Press the up arrow once This should place you on the voiceover option. Now, you can press the same button to return to the main home screen where all the icons are listed.
