I have two Apple TV units, and I'm wondering if they're both generation 3 units. I'm pretty sure one is, since it's 2 to 3 years old. The other one is over 4 years old, and I didn't think it was a third generation box. What leads me to ask this is because I was able to get audio description with Netflix on both of them, and from what I read in Jonathan Mosen's book, audio description only works on a third gen Apple TV. Both of them have the option of audio description in the settings menu. Just curious. It's not critical for me since it's working on both units. I'm enjoying the audio description of movies and TV shows. It makes them more enjoyable to me.
