A few months back, I was noticing that the San Francisco Chronicle was always
showing up incomplete. Maybe just a handful of articles for the entire paper
with whole sections missing. I make it a habit of reading the various papers
I’m interested in the morning so it imapcted my daily reading ruteen.

I wrote NFB Newsline about this issue and the explanation they gave me was that
the files for this particular paper was being received by them later in the day
and if I wanted to read the complete edition for that particular day, I would
have to check it later. Probably sometime after 3:00 PM. I asked if it was just
a temporary interruption or permanent and they responded that it looked to be a
permanent circumstance.

Unfortunate as by the late afternoon early evening I’m not interested in
reading stale news, but I guess there’s not much that NFB can do if they’re
dependent on getting whatever files they need from the providers to post the
periodicals

Same goes for the Contra Costa Times/Oakland Tribune.

I know with our local paper, some times they don’t give Newsline the whole
content. Sometimes whole sections are missing, but that is because the paper
didn’t send them a complete file.

I’d still write them as Michelle suggests so they can follow up with Time
Magazine.

Tom, I would suggest writing to NFB Newsline about the discrepancy you
discovered in the recent issue of Time Magazine

at n...@nfb.org and they are very responsive to support requests. I have not
found the issue you mentioned when I listen to articles on wither my IPad or my
regular telephone.

Hey all, got a question. I use NFB Newsline on my iPhone 6 regularly,
especially during my long morning commute. I view newspapers and magazines in
the app, and I also have some of my favorites e-mailed to me. Anyhow, this
morning I was reading the June 15 edition of Time magazine and found that a
number of articles just seemed to be incomplete, and below each of them was a
line which read "this article appears in the June 15 edition... order a
reprint", or something to that effect. It was as if what I was getting through
the app was an abstract rather than the full content. Has anyone noticed that
before with the NFB Newsline app, and is this something to do with the app
itself, or would the Daisy version that I receive via e-mail have that problem,
too? If the Daisy content's okay, is there a way that I can somehow get the
Daisy content from my e-mail attachments into something like, say, Voice Dream
reader or iBooks? I'm really curious about this. Thanks in advance.
