Once you log in with your audible.com ID you are able to link that to your 
Amazon.com account, so that you use the same information for both areas. If you 
do create two accounts, they should be able to link them for you.

I just got back with Audible and I am not running into that problem. I did 
create a problem myself thinking that since Amazon purchased Audible that I 
could renew my account using my amazon login.  Wrong! it created a new account 
using the Amazon login.  So, if you already have an audible account be sure to 
choose username rather than email as your login choice in the audible app.
