May I creep in with a question here?
I know how to change mail sounds and, in fact, have done this. However, at
some point, I had set one of my own sounds for my iCloud mail and this
doesn't change, even though the new selected sound is OK with my other two
accounts.
Any ideas if I can do anything else?

Go to Settings, Notifications and Mail. It's pretty self-explanatory from
there, just double tap the mail account you want, then double tap on the
Sounds button in that mail account and select whichever sound you want to
use.
