Hey May,

What is it that Homer Simpson says, doh because that fixed it. Can’t believe I 
did not think of that as when you pair your iPhone with the Echo sure enough 
your iPhone volume must go to zero by default, just got it paired and playing 
something from Downcast on the Echo. Thanks so much and do pass along my thanks 
to your friend for pointing out the blatantly obvious. Ok, now this really 
changes things since the iPhone and VO does work with the Echo. Time to explore 
more.
