Sorry, as for upgrading even if you don’t want to try Apple Music it’s just
like any upgrade. There are bug and security fixes, one of them is that text
message thing where somebody could send you a text message with a certain
string of Unicode characters and it would crash and reboot your phone. A few
people have reported battery drain issues, I personally think if anything my
battery life is slightly improved, but that is probably because I set up my
iPhone as a new device and started from scratch. Anyhow, it seems that with
every single upgrade a small number of people report that their battery life is
worse so I don’t think it’s a reason not to upgrade.

Hi all,

I notice my upgrade has been downloaded so here are my questions.

I do not think I want to take advantage of the new Apple Music at this time so,
is there any other good reason why I should upgrade? If I should upgrade then
what do I do to ensure that my music app still works as at present? Finally,
how is the latest upgrade working with the 4S for those who have taken the
plunge?

Thanks for any help on this.

Carol P
