Hi Jenny,

You would have to go on a site like http://ipswdownloader.com and download the
full iOS firmware for your specific device. I haven't checked if 8.4 is up
there yet, but I assume by now it would be. Then you have to connect your phone
to iTunes, put it in recovery mode, press shift+restore and select the
downloaded .IPSW file. If you use Windows, the file most likely will download
as a file with a .zip extension, you have to enable showing file extension and
rename it with .ipsw. Hopefully this will downgrade you and if you have
archived an 8.4 backup you can restore from it. All of this is explained at
beta.apple.com along with the appropriate warnings for using beta software. I
had a pretty hard time downgrading and since my backup was from 8.3 and I went
straight to 8.4 right after its public release, I couldn't restore my backup
and had to start from scratch, set up as a new phone, setup all my email
accounts again, reinstall apps and all that fun stuff. It took me hours and I
learned a pretty good lesson regarding archiving backups from various versions,
not to try and restore a backup from a previous version to a newer version and
in general about the risks involved with using early-stage beta software. I ran
iOS 8 from Beta 1 last year, but while I had all the usual bugs I think all in
all my 5S was actually more stabil than it was with iOS 9 Beta 1 and 2.

I may try iOS 9 agan before the public release in mid September, but probably
I'll let another 2 or 3 betas go by and look into it again in early or mid
August.

Good luck,
Sieghard
