Hi all, I've never messed with tones much, especially not outside of iTunes. My question is this: could I take an m4r file and use Airdrop to copy it from my Mac to an iPhone, then, on the phone, assign that file as a text or ring tone? I can make m4r files with no problem, my question is what iOS will do--and will let me do--once I Airdrop such a file. Has anyone ever tried this? Am I stuck using iTunes? Thanks.
