I haven’t since they recommend being closer to the check than the stands usually are.
It also depends on the banking app and if they require the check to be oriented in a particular way or not. I've tried the desktop scanner method and uploaded the front and back jpeg's, but those reject with a generic error, and the bank can't see what happened, but the very same checks took when I got sighted help to fiddle with the photography. If the iPhone stand isn't the best way to do a capture like this, what scanner that is physically small in size would give me what the bank's systems want to see to be able to revisit the scan and upload files method?
