If you are running the beta of 9.1, that could be why. Have you tried running it on an i-device with a more public version number, like 8.4? I don't have the game, but have learned from reading other people's accounts that it is good to use caution when using software on a test machine. I have listened to the podcast though and am highly considering getting the game, it sounds very fun and challenging. Also, if you act within the first 14 days or so you can get a refund using the Refund link in the email receipt you should get from Apple.
